Just wondering if there are any others having problems with MU. I'm a premium user, but have not been able to access any MU links lately

Try using CCleaner (http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER) to clean your computer up. due to the fact that, every website you visit, it gets downloaded and saved to a temporary disk file which can cause bad performance on your computer, which you'll have certain problems with your internet connection. If this program still isn't helping than try checking your computer to see if you have no spyware and viruses with a anti-virus protection software.

if you have too much browser add-on such as, search bars or other programs that usually appear on your browser's toolbar. uninstall the ones you don't really need, Too much add-on can cause performance problems also.

Also consider not to run too many programs that uses too much memory that can cause delays while your trying to download something or browse the net. it will slow down your internet connection.

if your country block megaupload, all you have to do is change your dns.

MU working fine...i actually used a trick, since I´m in China, MU is blocked also...so i use a VPN to just start downloading the files, after the download started you pause them and then disconnect the VPN and then unpause them that way you´ll be able to download at full speed (if you´re a premium member).

On November 28th, 2011. For everyone who is experiencing difficulty getting on megaupload, which I am also having difficulty getting on it too. Megaupload is having some sort of issue with there DNS server that took place by there domain registrars, preventing a lot of Ip from entering the site, but some ip address can still get on megaupload. which is from what I heard of and it's going to take days for them to get it fix.

In the meantime, here is a tutorial on how to change your DNS and use Google DNS server. You'll be able to get on megaupload.com, download or upload once you change your DNS to Google public DNS server. This tutorial is for Windows Vista & Windows 7. Also if your from Malaysia, which megaupload is banned in your country, this tutorial will help you bypass it too, which you'll be able to download from megaupload.

    1. Right click on your network connection icon in the system tray and open "network and sharing center"

    2. Click on your connection and than properties. Double click on "internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" or "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" if Internet Protocol verison 4 (tcp/ipv4) doesnt work for you.

    3. Where it says "Obtain DNS address Automatically" Check mark the circle that says "Use the following DNS server address.

    Enter these numbers
    Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
    Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

    4. Click okay and your done. You'll be able to enter megaupload.com/Megamanager, Download or upload like normal again.

Note: Once megaupload.com is back and running normal again, repeat this same process until you get to Step 3, Check mark the circle that says "Obtain DNS address Automatically" and click okay to go back to your old DNS.

Uh oh...I tried your method. Not only did it not work, now I don't know what was my original DNS server address. Have you got any solution to that?

If you follow the tutorial correctly. it should work. If internet protocol version 4 (TCP/Ipv4) doesn't work, than try Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6). If you want your DNS server address setting back, check mark "obtain dns address automatically" and click okay.

Hey great, it seems to work now. Thanks a bunch! But...when I changed it back to the original, once again I couldn't open the MU page. So is it ok if I keep it at the same settings?
