the guy was a goo wak boss, and they need to territory to expand their business. Besides, the guy tried to stab him first, so he's technically doing it for defense.
@jeff but i thought earlier in LOO it said that the first guy he killed was his dai lo in his first UC mission. JIN IS GOING TO DIE :((((((
what you smoking, the other "spoiler" threads are still there. How you know jin will die? Watched the preview ep? Nah that don't count as spoiler for ep 17 then. Sheesh ginger is so evil, he snitched!
thx for ending spoilers pok guy this was 17!!!! see thats why we need spoiler thread for every episode! but shino was too ghey potential leaver is +1 everyone else -9000!
Okay, I feel like there are major plot holes. In a span in two episodes we have seen: - Laughing being on probation on his job, then later quits, due to his frustration of the police force of not being able to help "kit siu's" unfortunate incident, gets in trouble, does a setup of going to jail for 2 months, as part of the undercover scheme - quits as a cop, and stands alone of wrecking some sort of havoc, such as creating turmoils with the police and stealing "spicy ginger's" drugs, and throws them into the river - 'Leet gor' not only wants to kill him, but sees him as a valuable and great asset for the mafia, doesn't care about the 1 million worth of drugs - 'Leet gor' wants laughing's services and seduced of a briefcase of money, as a welcoming gift - 'Leet gor' explains to his mistress that he wants to retain his kingpin status after the new election and doesn't want "laat geung" to become the new leader, so he wants to use Laughing as a tool to create chaos between Bosco and Ginger - Boscowants to stab and kill laughing in the elevator scene and they eventually fight together because of another mafia's ambush, and they are now bros? - Laughing gets hired, and chooses Bosco to be his business partner - Laughing is now basically on the same page as Bosco, as partners, and try to fight for new territory and tries to stop Ginger from getting too much power Okay, excuse the language, but holy fuck, this plot is so bad. Are the TVB directors retards? I can write a better script than this. How can a the mafia be so gullible? Laughing is known to be a high profile cop, with a crazy UC background and history, pulls some mediocre badass stuff, and they buy that he's a goo wak jai and wants in to be one of them? Also, he gets hired as one of the top guys, and even lets him into the confidential meeting with the highest ranks of the mafia? Now he's basically level with Bosco and Ginger. Also, Bosco and Laughing are now buddy-buddies? Just after that incident? Wow, this is so badly written. I love the series but these plot holes are serious issues.
come on jeff, we didn't need to know that... the least you could have done was to hide your comment and put spoiler tags around it! nas, you gotta lay some groundwork to these threads and implement a rule or something! discussion should be strictly limited to the chapter at hand with no mentionings/discussions of the preview to the next chapter or the series' ending. oh and also, i actually agree with shino's suggestion of having discussion threads for groups of chapters (i.e.
Lives of Omission CH 16-20 Discussion) as opposed to one thread for every new chapter released. the latter would flood out all the other interesting and worthwhile threads in the lives of omission discussion forum. agreed...this whole thing was way too rushed. mafia is so gullible, it's not believable to the audience (or at least to me).
Oh sorry on my part. But on another note.. coming to episode spoiler thread should be prepared to spoilers for that episode. (In this case, i was at fault) Making a 5 episode spoiler thread has a downside to it as people who didn't watch the other 1-4 episodes will know what happens.
but why would you go into, say a chapter 11-15 thread, and discuss ch 15 if you haven't yet seen all the previous chapters? it makes sense to me since all the newest episodes will be discussed at the later pages of the thread. the only problem behind grouping chapters into threads is if people who aren't updated with the series on a daily basis want to discuss (i.e. episode 15 just aired, but i just finished watching chapter 12. i would like to discuss chapter 12, but the thread is already loaded with spoilers from chapters 13-15).
but then again, most of the discussion at that point from users would be concentrated on the latest chapter. also, there's always the chance of potential spoilers because i reckon it'd be harder for people to discuss a previous chapter knowing what they know from being up to date. in other words, you snooze you lose. -lol
Yea, so i'd rather have individual thread for individual episodes.. even though its a bit more disorganized. Having aired after 1 week, we can make another thread.. hyperlinking to each seperate thread or something. -shrug
[*spoiler=Text]Enter Spoiler Here
We have spoiler tags for a reason, please use it. People who like to watch previews please dont post spoilers in the previous ep's thread, some people dont watch previews for a reason.
