i don't mind seeing linda in these kind of roles, rather than those "faye mui" roles from some series, which doesn't fit her character at all.

No, you are definitely not the only one, not the first one and not the last one either. Remember Chairmaine Sheh also had this GaiJaiSeng during her early days in TVB but look at her now. She improved a lot and it didn't take her very long. She's become so versatile now she can play almost any kind of role and you'd still like her. But Linda on the hand, I honestly didn't see much improvements despite ALL the opportunities she's given over the past few years. so much hate for linda sheesh she didnt know chinese when she first started so i think shes doing a good job right now......its hard for a CBC in HK!
Linda has been the party pooper of all the tvb shows i've seen lately that she has taken part in, her annoying voice, she just can't articulate the cantonese language and all her dialogs has the same pitch, very annoying. I don't know whose table has linda been under but it seems like its been working for her, she always gets the good roles.
