ahhhh i really hate how people are always LATE!!! we girls were supposed to do a project and said to meet at 5, i was standing outside for almost half hour and NO ONE CAME. i left cus i have class and they txt me 'where are you? we're coming'-kekemad

then the second time we were supposed to meet at 8 and NO ONE CAME AGAIN >:O! this time i waited 1 hour! no reply from txt either, this is ridiculous and irresponsible!!! (i was on the computer so it was alrite...)

also people i came across are ALWAYS LATE too, friends, relatives, teachers.......F

they totally need to learn to get on time, its not like i can always accommodate them by showing up late as well so it would seem like they're on time.

i'm guilty of being late as well..but not as late as an hr unless something urgent came up but i always make it up to my friends...><"

my rules with frens ... 15 mins is all i wait. after that, good luck trying to meet up with me. I don't call or txt during that 15 mins. After that 15 mins, i don't answer calls or reply txt.

i see it as them not appreciating my friendship - no respect for my time. Why shld i bother with them?

apparently i didnt receive the message that the meeting is cancelled......>.< my phone seems to do that sometimes, even with missed calls, fated to be unlucky today x.x

u've got attitude lol. i only see them not appreciating our friendship and would speak to them about it if they did it 3 times, maybe just girls XD

  5. if that happened to me i would give them a rollocking, and twice... naaaw they must be taking you for a mug, when it comes to meeting up, its serious business.

but personally i would stop meeting with them before we fall out.

  6. the trick is..... you want to meet at 6? tell them to meet at 5

I'm usually early but these days, I'll try to be there just on time cause it seem like the rules are, everyone is at least 15mins late.

This seems good though. it's reasonable. Maybe the first or second time.. it's alright, but like.. consistently? What kind of friends are they?

yeah .. i understand your frustration Kay .. i hate those who are not prompt and reliable. unfortunately, i tend to meet them all the time .. what can i say .. perhaps it's us who are taking things too seriously.

i learned to call first or whatever .. making sure ppl are coming before i head out the door .. you can sign up one of those gps social networks .. and last but not least, i just avoid meeting altogether and do everything online .. conference call, webcam, etc .. just gotta speak up and come to a compromise if ppl are late. everyone has a limit.

we had to wait for 20 minutes to get transport to a wedding registrar. The invite stated that we had to be at the appointed place at 10am but the organiser did not get there until 10.10. We did however get to the wedding on time!

The way your friends acted.it's like they do not care about finishing the work. What i would have done if they 'didn't care' is go home and do the project myself.

when i'm late,i call them at most 15mins before and i expect them to do the same.

  18. That is what I do sometimes as well. It will ensure that the person or persons you are meeting will be on time. It is quite annoying when you have already arrived at the stipulated time but the other person is late and when you call them up asking where they are they always seem to say "10 minutes away". Which in actual fact turns out to be more than 30 minutes late.

I am always late because I am always asked to do something for other people, thus making me late. When i don't have to do any thing for other people, I am on time. this is rare!!
