tell the truth, im not even sure. i only started watching the first 2 episode and it seems like the side stories of the old one.
the first few episode are the same as parts of the first one. It starts changing and branching off a couple episodes later.
The first few episodes recap the old series and then continues from where they broke off from the manga. I don't get why you guys wanna watch it in canto, dubs are usually pretty bad, unless you don't understand english. However, they did do a pretty good job with the old FMA.
well i want it in canto so i can multi task when i want and not always have my eyes glued on the video reading the subs... and most of the time canto does a pretty good dub then english ones... i would prefer canto over english anytime

I've watched until episode 9 and it's still the same as the old original series. Which episode will it start having new scenes?

Ya, it's bad only during the opening theme song, once it gets into the story, it's good. Well, not great but acceptable. The dubbing is awesome, funny too. Keep em coming.
judging by the voice actor. i can tell it is air on TVB. does TVB broadcast this anime every weekend? man, rapidshare is pretty slow. my average DL speed is around 300-400KB/. on megaupload, i have 1.5-2MB/s.
