I don't exactly belong in a religion because I feel like religion has done more harm than good in our prolonged human history...whadda you guys think?
It does seem that religion has done more harm but Im sure religion has also done a lot of good that we never hear about. It gives people faith and a reason for their existence, which Im sure cant be bad.
The problem with most people is that they only talk and remember the negative/bad things about anything. Religion included. When one is facing life and death situations, then let's see whether "Best relion is no religion" holds any truth at all.
well i think religion is good. it's up to anyone to interpret wat religion teachings are all about. but some teach wrongly.. so.. dangerous>.<
i dont know about having no religion being the BEST religion. but yeah im non-religious too.. i just believe that whatever happens happens. there's no big almighty person/creature who determines everything.
ahhamah i totally agree...religion just causes to many problems...if there were no religion then there'd be no fights over which is better and which is right and so on...i just feel the only thing good religion brings is morals

but dont you think its weird that people usually turn to God/religion in times of trouble, sadness, death, miralces and people turn away from religion from troubles, death, sadness
i dont agree that no religion is good is human who make use or abuse the religion for there own needs that give the religion a bad name we should practise goodwill among fellow human being and aslo help one another with a open heart
yup its true for example, in christian ppl dont want to go to hell and burn rather they do good things inorder to get into heaven
so true... it's def better.. lotta pple use religion for something to fall back on.. It was religion after all which lead to the believe of manifest destiny... few thinks their race is superior because of religion... pple get scared not knowing waht to do... cant decide for themselves turn to religion..
unfortunately religion and wars/ fights has grown through the years but i believe that faith can give u strengths to live in life.. true believers dont harm people, but love each other

hmm first time i've heard of that... but yea there are too many religions.. "religion and wars/ fights has grown through the years" it's hard to keep faith in anything... pple don't even have faith in pple.. of course we'd all like to think that something is gonna save us if we believe in it enough... but rarely do miracles happen...
I personally don't believe in any religion. I think religion gives people faith if they do not take the words literally as I believe a lot of the stuff is metaphoric. I also think a lot of people make religion seem bad due to the leaders of the religion who only utilise it for there own benefits. Most religions has pretty much the same in content just with different gods/goddesses. I think the best thing is to beleive in your own conscience and treat people the way you want to be treated.
