Edison Chen Koon Hei risked his life by returning to Hong Kong earlier. Edison apologized to the two main victims of the nude photo incident, Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi and Gillian Chung. Allegedly, Edison apologized to Gillian through MSN. He offered to take her out to dinner, hoping to make amends.

Edison has been in Hong Kong for 11 days. During this time, he interviewed with CNN and discussed the nude photo incident. He has also made high-profile shopping appearances at malls, apparently testing the waters to see if the audience will accept his intended comeback in the entertainment industry. Although Edison received a barrage of criticisms, he reached out to Cecilia Cheung and Gillian Chung to apologize, hoping to erase his poor image.
