Also, when burning the wii game you must set the speed to the lowest .

  9. what dvd writers do you guys have?

  10. alright I figured it out...

to rip games you need specific LG Dvd Writers in order to read the games..

but I guess since you're burning straight off others images.. any dvd writer will do..

I'm not sure, but I think you need dual layer dvd. I'm just basing this off the fact that 360 games are on dual layered dvds as well.

wii games are all single layer dvd. you don't need dual layer for wii games. Xbox360 yes though

Before you bother to download a wii game, you need:

    1) A modded wii that lets you play your own dvds. It is either done by installing a modchip or a softmod by flashing the dvd firmware to bypass copy protections
    2) Any dvd burner
    3) Make sure the game you download is the right region (NTSC, PAL, etc) or block updates not of your region. Otherwise you'll wreck your wii
    4) Unzip the wii game Rar file and you should have an ISO file. (I use winrar)
    5) Use your favorite dvdburn program at 2x speed to burn ISO file to a DVD (I use ImgBurn)

    Hope this helps

use img-burn. to burn the img file o_O and your wii needs to be modded for the games to work.
