No, because u never who it belonged to n what happened with em...even if its washed i still feel as if its dirty... id only buy like a secondhand car or whatever with clothes im always scared it might have belonged to some dead person =/???? i wont buy used clothes, mobiles, laptops etc...i like my stuff clean n unused
my friend brought me to one once but i'm not really into used clothes .. clothes there are considerably cheaper but not really anything nice
If i know a place around where I live, I'll go and check it out and see if there are any goodies, but it'll really have to be cheap and good for me to buy it.
i would never wear something that has been worn by other ppl....i dont even want ppl wearing my clothes in general
I don't buy used clothing. I don't like the feeling of wearing something someone else has worn before. It's just my preference. I'll buy used items like electronics, textbooks and videogames only if they are in good condition or at the right price.
perhaps .. lol. but i've never come across those and i'm thinking if i wanted a designer bag, then i wouldn't buy a used one
places like Primark ~ people trying them on and then dont like them and when they try to put it back, they just dump them on the floor. TRUE STORY!!! and nope i dont do that cos i havent bought clothes in England for a very long time, just seen people do it a lot in Brighton and nope, i dont buy used clothing ~
It's interesting, I bet this mentality is taught more amoung asians, cause i know lots of Caucasins (sp?) even those with money who don't mind the concept. Like if they just think it is cool they will go buy it. Anyways I've developed this reason for me to go. Cosplay/Costumes I make a lot of cosplay, and i find it ridiculous to buy a $30 shirt it which i will rip up for cosplay. Because i know i wont wear it more than twice, than I will consider buying it use (hense "consider" I still feel hesitant sometimes).
umm...i have shopped at used clothing stores....aka...'charity shops' in uk...^^.. and coz all the money goes to charity it feels nice sometimes to your bit... i shopped being i have bought used (old) pictures, picture frames, books... as for used clothes nah not really unless i do see something i really like then i will buy it and most of the time you can see some vintage stuff which is great...but ya need to ubbber look for it sometimes...and it depends on the location coz if ya in a rich part....ya can pick up lots of bargins....coz most of the clothes are hardly worn or some even still have the original clothes labels....and has been donated to charity anyways...*sigh rich people*
although i dont shop in used clothes shop, i do however donate clothes i dont wear anymore to charity like the British Heart Foundation when i was younger because my wardrobe is laden with clothes and there are loads i dont wear as BB has pointed out with the charity thing. but i have never ventured into a charity shop to look for clothes before.
^ so you collect all your old clothes as you're older nows..??... i still donate my clothes if i dun wear them anymores.....hmm...need to do that some time too...
well when i did it, clothes i dont wear, into the binbag and off they go but i should do it sometime soon too
Never. I don't really mind wearing used clothes, especially now when we have a global recession. But where I live, I can hardly find any place to shop for used clothing.
