That is not what I am claiming, I am saying I dont think that Dann should say he hates such a large group of people based on the fact that people within the group have different views.
correct me if im wrong but the dalai lama n buddha dont believe in that god right so their sinning n whats worse...some ppl worship the buddha....which is not allowed when ur a catholic/christian im sure the pope sins once in a while.....at the end of the day even the pope is human n not a god...
Speaking of which, a little FYI for all: The God in Buddhism is said to be referring to the same God as Christian God, Alah and w/e... at least I hope so.. But anyways, Buddhists don't believe in believing in a higher being than Buddha (I don't know why), but by all means, Buddha is NOT God like a lot of people think. The Dalai Lama believes in the Buddha, and several other Buddhas, each of which represent a specific thing in life. Buddhas are the equivalent of.... saints.. for lack of better word, and the principal Buddha, Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha, who founded Buddhism. Gautama Buddha is described in many books as the rank of Master, much like Prophet Mohamad, even Jesus. I expect a few flames from my last statement. But to say Buddhism has no God is untrue, because there is a God, but Buddhists don't worship that God as much as other religions worship their God.
^ i didnt say buddhism has no god....=/ *shrug* I dont know that much abt buddhism...i do know that christians, jews n islams are somewhat similar (to a certain extend) n i know buddhist always worship buddha so thats seen as bad for christians since one is not allowed to worship anyone else except for the lord.... who was in 3 forms if i am not mistaken... cuz my colleague told me it was the holy spirit, jesus and then theres god... a bit confused when i heard it first....
and i didn't say you said that lol i quoted you because your post reminded me of something, it doesn't mean i'm against it lol
Such sweet honesty indeed. I think all of us are guilty of some double standards at one point of time or another. But I don't think that should be a reason to hate anyone or even oneself ? I think its hard to break the chains of being "Human". Perhaps an affirmation of our capacity to try to love the folks around us and then extend it to everyone is truly an impossible task. But should we give up in that pursuit ?
Oh OH Oh, so this week at sunday our pastor pointed out something Christians cheat on their taxes as much as the rest of the population!
well it isn't quite the suprise. I guess it just makes you think when someone says something like that. And you admit "yea it's probebly true"
