i think its a big MEH... full on blown out harajuku style can be hawt on some girls... but generally it gets kinda overboard imo... i guess its actually kinda hawt if ur just partially dressed in harajuku fashion and not sliding into the emo/scary spice side of harajuku -.-;
oi, it's fun. i tried it before~e. loved to be dressed as gothic lolita or just some vk artist (i dun have that kind of hair anymore tho). <3
I like japanese because their not scared to be super crazy n do whatever they like... it gets kinda extreme sometimes but its something that we should admire.... u dont have to like it but hey they do have the balls to do it.... personally i am not into that kinda shit n cosplay stuffz but hey....by all means... do what u gotta do....
^ oooOooo the stuff by gwen stefani right...??...then yeshhhh me likey too....but some stuff is pretty pricey =/
HaraJuKu fashion, is that another name for cosplay *dress style* right? If that is the case then, I respect people that wear that kinda stuff. Since they got the courage to express themself in a different way despite the fact, that others could make fun of them. I have some friends that hates these kinda people, saying they are only searching for attention. I think their style is kinda okay, if they dont overdo stuff. (like paint on their faces etc) Well it's a fashion, so you will always have haters and lovers =)
^ Yea, I read your post about that label by gwen stefani, that's why I got confused. But since harajuku fashion is more know as that *cosplay* dress style, I thought the OP was talking about that. (he/she should have add some pictures ) I think that harajuku lovers style is okay, bit a little bit too expensive....
cant imagine myself spending so much extra time to do a bit of face painting before i go out everyday =D
i've smelt the harajuku perfumes hahaha i like the "music" or "love" one there's another harajuku perfume called baby xD and it actually smells like a baby LOL
I think it's fun, but it's not an everyday thing It isn't quite cosplay, cause cosplay is usually related in copying of a trademark character like an anime character or mascot. But i do admit it is similar to cosplay becuase it is dress up I think harajuku lover is cool, but it's not quite harajuku. It's harajuku inspired, but can not be called harajuku. and yea it's kinda getting pricy but because of it, it's introducing this new trend of japanese cutness mixed with a bit of goth characters. Helping lines like Tokodi become popular. (which I love, but also is not harajuku, but is very japanese)
