TVB should NEVER EVER make a continuous drama series like this. They've FAILED miserably in the past 3-5 years. From this one, to the car one. Just pathetic. They need something like WELCOME TO THE HOUSE, KINDRED SPIRIT, not shit like this. Waste of time, actors/actress and time. GIGI LAI is stupid. Someone should put ketchup on her eyes.
ketchup..?...-what? i dun really mind these grand shows to be honest....i like watching it for the big actors/actresses but yeshh the drive of life one had a badddd ending but i thought it was okies la.... and same as this one....i quite enjoying watching it coz i like the people in it...
Espresso is known to post more strong opinionated posts to provoke discussion. But I kinda do agree with Espresso to a certain point that the last two long dramas: The Drive of Life and Gem of Life are not up to the standard from Kindred spirit. I think it's just hard for TVB to lock their actors in such long series so they only do 60-80 episode series as long, nothing like 1000 episodes. But a lot of these longer dramas are filled with a strong cast so that aspect definitely still attract a good chunk of older audience as well. It's too bad that Gigi Lai is retiring after this series because she didn't end with a memorable bang.
Well not ALL people hated it, Im sure there are a few who do enjoy watching this series. I just think its all on personal preferences, what we like and dislike.

tvb should stick to drama seriest with only 20-30 episodes. anything longer than that, is just being dragged on...
Thank you for those that aren't meek and sheep. I spoke how I feel like regarding this series. If you catch on the remaing 1/4 of this series, it took a downward spiral. The failure occured when LEI SEE KEI admitted the crimes. The series then fast forwarded 2 years and it was as cheesy, as gullible as ever. Watch it and you'll know. Everything and everyone dies, it's torn apart. Quite a shame, with such a great cast. No one has ever put together anything as good as Kindred Spirit. Those of you folks who aren't born in the late 80s and 90s should know.
it was good at the beginning, but yes, it became boring in the later part, they should stop at 40 or max at 60.. gigi is very annoying, both the character and the acting..
I actually enjoyed it at the begining... it started to drag heaps which kinda switched me off... i found Gigi's role a bit annoying which kinda turned me off her acting as well i no its not a good thing buh yeah...
I agree it is good at the beginning and little boring at the median time. But, when you keep going until ep75, you will can't stop. it is gooooooddddd.
