the series gets better, believe me, lol. i have to say though, there really is a lot of character development, and a lot of characters. i'm on ep38 now, and the focus still isn't on the diamond industry yet, but the characters are so interesting that it doesn't even matter, lol. just a warning though, it does get kinda boring when they get to the parts about Constance's relationships, but if you can get beyond that, it picks up again
That's about all that TVB knows how to do: character development (mostly through relationships and other drama). It almost never fully focuses on what the overall story is about.
the beginning is a bit slow, but after 5 episodes, it's more imteresting. what makes me continue is becasue of it has good actors like moses chan, wong hei and bosco wong. but unfortunately... the actress are not that great! but it's not so exciting as Heart of Greed 2!!!
I've given up on this series. Was stupid enough to watch 30 episodes of it!!! Never watched a series develop so slow!!! At the rate its going it would need more than 80m episodes to get thru their story lines
^ hey ive just watched up to epi30 too...on uk chin channel..... i dunno ive watched 30 and slowly gotten to know whos who...so i'll prolly watch it all i think im curious whuts gonna happen....and i like seeing all these big actors/actresses.... and and this is gigi lai's last show....and i likey her acting...^^
I think I watched all the way to ep 15 then I kind of stopped partly due to the fact that it was boring, but also because exams was coming out. After exam I was thinking of resuming but then I kind of remember how slow the plot was and reconsidered.
We've already watched more than 50 episodes so it sounds a bit odd to quit now Im gonna watch it till the end, its gettin' more interesting now
Haha I gotta agree. This series is so slow... and I only continue to watch it because I love the cast. It gets interesting from 50 and on though. =)
To be honest, the story is VERY slow and it's losing my focus. I get easily distract while I am watching this series...so, parts that are really lulling, I don't bother paying attention. It's not like it's going to matter.
ya i agree this show is very very slow gets boring at times... i would rather do other things then watch it
at 1st i was quite anticipating this series but as i started watching it didn't seem as interesting... and it was kinda draggy too... stopped around ep 10 or so... =/
I have watched up to ep 40 and i stopped. sometimes the storyline was good and sometimes it was boring. well at least, i enjoyed watching a lot of good actors and actresses in this drama.
