A train passenger has been horrifically burned by teenagers who set him on fire as he slept in his seat on the carriage. Four youths attacked the 21-year-old while he took a nap on the Brighton to Littlehampton train in Sussex. He was found by a guard, unconscious on the floor with serious burns to his face. Police are now examining CCTV footage and carrying out forensic tests. The teenagers are thought to have boarded the 6.50pm service at the Lancing stop. Detective constable Rob Cager said: "During the assault a fire was started just before the train pulled into Durrington-on-Sea railway station where the group fled the train." Descriptions of three of the people believed to be behind the Sunday evening attack have been issued. Two are described as white and aged 14 or 15. One was skinny and 5ft tall with short black hair, black tracksuit bottoms and a grey hooded top, the second wore a black hooded top. The third is believed to be skinny, white and 17-18 years old. He wore black jeans, a black hoodie and a black coat, and had short black hair. There is no description of the fourth person. The victim is in a stable condition in the specialist burns unit at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. If your gona fall asleep, go first class!

wahhh....thas badd....luckily i dun live down south....sussex....hey mebe thas tong tong haha...-lol... i always fall asleep when im travelling on public transport damnit...its just so boring and takes forever to get anywhere on public transport...ive tried reading and that just falls out of my lap and onto the floor when i tried reading >.<

lol I never fall asleep on trains when I'm alone.. but if I have a friend with me I have nothing to be scared of
depending on what type of trains, those cheap trains ppl sleep, if you are on the sight-seeing trains like the Rocky Mountaineer, you won't be sleeping, is a day trip running across Canada up to Manitoba, (and most of them are elderly) so why would you sleep in those trains? furthermore train trips are expensive, how often you will be on trains? doesn't the books says accidental touch of boobs make the lady feel good? LOL
I used to live in Melbourne and sometimes, when I really havn't had enough sleep the night before, I do fall asleep on the train. This story is horrific, the kids really need to be taught the consequences of the actions.. I hope they do catch them!
