    well bb one second can be the difference between the game winning shot leaving the hands before the buzzer or the final second before time is up right when you need to finish filling in the last buzzer before the teacher pulls the test away from you. Or it could be the spilt second late while you are crossing the street right as a car/truck/bus comes zooming by...
