Anyone read these books? I'm a big fan of the Nightworld series by LJ Smith, and was recommended the Twilight Books. Are these any good? Anyone read both? Which one is better? I think Twilight has been made into a film now, comes out soon. I read the Twilight series. I finished all 4 books in 4 days, so if you are looking for a quick read, then go ahead. The book is like 7-8th grade reading level.
I've read both the series, got them all in fact... but Night World isnt completed yet, the final book's been delayed for several years now....:tear: i been waiting for the last book for long...so hopefully it'll be out at in 09.... an yup, Twilight's been made into a film, seen the trailer....looks good but we'll have to see... Back to OP: I like both....but i kinda prefer Night World..cos it doesnt just focus on Vamps an Weres.....its a variety of characteres...an the storyline at the moment is getting 'Gan Jeurng' with the Wild Powers etc...
lol..i know they're aimed at kids and i did read these back when i was in high school..just that the last book still havent been released yet..been waiting for years.. but sometimes i actually prefer reading teen books in oppose to those aimed at adults because sometimes the adult ones can be really serious and deep..would choose a teen book if i wanted a quick read and dont want to use much brain power..
lol yeh....i still read these whenever i'm bored... esp point horror books :laugh2: too girly perhaps?
read the twilight series. finished 1st book in 5 days, then the rest took a longer while. the last book especially...had me sleeping after 1/4 of the book. i saw the trailer,,,and they changed too much from the book to the movie,,,huge disappointment. but it's a really romantic story.
the ending at the last book was bit rubbish imo, Spoiler cos there was all this hype about the volturi coming down blah blah to see the child....an Edward and Bella was gathering witnesses etc...so it was like there was guna a massive fight....but noo...volturi comes, finds out they made a mistake...kills ONE person then goes back to Italy =.=" an then Happy ever after....didnt really satsify me at all!!!
read twilight...the plot is good though, the first book was the only book i enjoyed i guess... but sometimes steph. meyer repeats too much and yeah...all the other books were alright..but the last book in the series was boring as cause it had jacob's book...and yeah... good book..and most people spoiled the ending for me..
ok..finally watched and read twilight now..got to say pretty much on parr with nightworld...am addicted to the twilight series now and totally love edward cullen!! waiting for breaking dawn to arrive now =D
lol, the book is always better than the movie. >.< i thought breaking dawn has been out already for months...? o__O;
Never read Nightworld before but tempted to get one. Twilight series is good for light reading. If you are into romance/vampire books anyway,
i've completed my nightword collection, except for the final book which should be coming out 'soon' LOL but i think its the other way round, Nightworld is more suitable for light reading cos its not that thick compared to Twilight......
seriously speaking..i haven't heard bout Nightworld...and as for Twilight, hmmmm...i haven't seen this movie yet but i saw its review..it's more on a girl falling in love with a vampire...don't really interest me
