I have a international friend who is having car problems which he said something is wrong with his front asoe which i googled and couldn't figure out what part it is. Any guesses???, btw the way my brother in law is helping him to fix the car but i don't want to look stupid if i don't know which part is and i don't want to be rude and let my bro in law scan the whole car for problems when he is doing the whole work for free and on his own time.
... if his front axel is boned... he's screwed lol... u can't rly fix it unless u pay $$$... u can only compensate rly for a quick fix... most obvious problem would be u can't steer straight, loss of gas mileage, and bad tire wear... in the long run, it'll probably kill ur suspension and ur drivetrain if it's a fwd... i also don't believe u can fix it at home... ur gonna need a garage, at the minimum u need to at the very least be able to do an alignment, which is ass hard w/o equipment... theoretically u can do it with basic tools, string, tape etc... but meh so much time wasted, hope ur bro in law is up for it =/
just get a new car... if they're driving the car, and know somethings wrong, they'd be able to tell in general where abts the issue or how the issue comes abt obviously then its much easier to scan and identify the actual issue
My brother in law is a mechanic so it shouldn't be a problem, but i think my buddy is looking for a quick fix. Anyways thanks guys I was thinking front axle too but just double checking so i don't sound lame
it's a simple fix depending on what car you have. good luck. if u can find the fsm for the car then that excellent. fsm will give you a break down on what to do. another case, is to find forums for the car and ask pple on the forum. you can get lot of excellent and useful tips on car forums
