Help me pick a DSLR camera! Canon Rebel XS or Nikon D40 (or D60)?

lol why do people not buy porn in HD? because you can't fap to a porn star's zit close ups and skin problems.

why do you not get a 50MP pic of stephy? because of the same reason.

Nikon has 2 yr warranty for body and upto 5 yr in lens
Canon has 1 yr everything

i am still thinking of either Canon XSi / 40D / 50D

 

nikon d40/d50 are discontinued... d40 replaced d50, d60 replaced d40
r u sure u can still get them?
i'd recommend to at least get a newer one given the technology advances

as a beginner, I am very happy with my nikon d40.... functions are pretty easy to set. But a D90 will be nice with live view finder. Eventually it's up to your needs and budget.
