    I am using Microsoft MCE as my entertainment center. This is really good as I can tune in to the radio, watch dvd, even store my CD music. I can even record programs on my cable tv. I just like to share with the internet community. Have you got one? Wanna share.

    umm i yea.. i have Media Center on vista.. lol not that useful.. i rather use other programs.

    Have you tried mediaportal? Quite easy to use as well.

    i guess it is useful if its already come with the computer but there are many other programs out there which can do the same job and are better lol.

    op is a noob. you ain't cool yet before you get yourself a REAL home entertainment system with a respectable collection of dvds and cds.

    real meaning real dvd players, cd players receivers, speakers, hdtv and projector + screen, etc etc

    wtf why would u need an HDTV + projector/screen. why is everyone busting his balls calling him a newb hes just sharing his experience with MCE =\

    real home home entertainment system ?? FYI if u didnt know media centers AKA PCs are replacing a lot of "dvd players, cd players" and for reciever, speakers. the logitech z-5500 could and will make your house shake.

    PS3 won't connect to MCE because PS3 don't hvave windows installed

    A very cheap alternative would be to get an old XBOX (so not 360), apply the softmod and install the XBOX Media Center (XBMC) on it.
