While the recipes and remedies that are being proffered all have some degree of merit, it's important to remember that everyone's face and skin is different. Heck, one person's face is different as a person ages; that is, your complexion and skin make up undergoes changes as you grow older. Hence, it's very hard for a forum like this to even suggest what is right for you as there is really no way of knowing what your skin needs. Bottom line, if you want sure answers, you need to see a dermatologist. As others have mentioned, some of the acne may actually be worsened by eating certain types of foods, and not all of them are simple to identify (like the greasy fried chicken from KFC). There is also the possibility that you may not have acne but something else (eg Impetigo or Herpes Zoster). Seeing a specialist will keep you from guessing (and perhaps doing all kinds of unnecessary voodoo to your face or even worsening it) and get you started on the road back to an even complexion (...and if you're ugly as piss to begin with, the dermatologist may even have a recommendation for a good Plastics guy. Er... joke). Seriously, you should see the professional; while acne is common, it is not an easily solved problem. Good luck, and good health. Ralph
my solution, is to cut down on the makeup, but if u do frequently use makeup, make sure you apply a moistorising base, this will reduce the makeup causeing any bleamishes and give it a smooth texture. morning and night, you should: remove makeup with wipes or makeup remover, use a cleanser, use a facial scrub, then splash your face with cold water, as this will close the pores and reduce any bacteria entering. also you should tone and moistorise before bed! if you do have the odd spot/blackhead, i usually get a mask done, i mean its 69p ago, id recommend once a week. you just need to apply and then wash off after the stated time. the mask you choose is really upto you, i go for a range, and different ones for different days, like in the winter i usually use heat masks. if you really cant be bothered to buy or afford it, heres a recipe that i often use because its simple but effective: you need an egg and about a tea spoon of olive oil, whisk it up and then apply on the face with some cotton wool, leave for about 10-15mins or until you can feel it working (it will pull on ur face when it drys), then just rinse off with warm water and then again with cold water to close the pores. thats it! hope it was useful.
salicylic acid astringent, benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin (prescription needed), benzoylmycin (prescription needed). Wash ur face daily but no more than 3 times. There are also oral medicines but i wouldn't recommend them.
I use proactive. It works for most of my friends but then once i am off it, my pimples come abck again.
clean your face regularly... but if it gets out of hand use some products like what ppl suggest proactive or neutrogena
Be careful that you don't overwash or overtreat. Sometimes all your face needs is some gentle cleansing and moisturizing (yes! but with a non-comedogenic product). If it's that severe, consult a dermatologist.
the number of times u wash ur face should be based on your skin type. but most people wash their face twice a day; once in the morning and once at night. If you are oily skin, you could try washing it three times a day. Usually people say dont wash your face excessively is because they think it will be to dry. But if you are oily skin, washing it 3 times wont hurt. but if you are dry skin, i would just recommend washing it 2 times a day. I would recommend using tea tree oil. It helps kill the bacterias. When you first start to use it, it will bring out all the acne that has not begin to appear yet. So you may think the tea tree oil made it worse. Acne will only get worse before it gets better. Just be patient. ALWAYS DRINK A LOT OF WATER. AND DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH YOUR HANDS. HANDS ARE DIRTY!
u could try using eye drops (those which contain chlorine) . . alot of stars use it wen dey start to appear
wash your face 2 times a day with a regular cleanser.. tried to buy in a chinese herbal place.. find a ginseng pearl cream it works wonders.. i have been using this for 6 years now.. i had my acne really late when i was 21 years old my sis told me to use this and thank her when i see the difference.. and i did.. i have tried so many acne product and it doesnt work on me. and theres other beauty secrets out there i know out there .. will tell later..
no, that causes rings under the eye...... acne only happens when pores get clogged with "dirty" particles.... so as long as you can keep your pores clear and clean as fast as they can get clogged (which is pretty difficult to do) you would not get acne....
when you are stressed or don't consume enought water, you get acne. so problem try to relax yourself and drink lots lots of water to see if it'll help. =D
do a detox program. i've once read one of a sort of detox way is by eating apples for at least three days in a row. these apples should be eaten as breakfast, lunch and supper. drink juice also for the whole day. and the most important thing is you have to defecate every night. re-do this detox program 1 week after your 3-days detox was over in case if it has not totally solve your acne problem. guess what, you also will loose your weight.
