I thought it was only 30-min long but it's just like a regular drama series with a ~44-min chapter. I don't know what other think of this series but beside the graphics and all, it's not to a very good start yet. I guess we gonna have to wait it out to see if things will improve eventually or get worst. I certainly hope it's not the latter cuz it's 41 episodes long. As for Linda Chung .. kinda too much of her this year .. yeah.. she's cute and love her accent but really surprised that they would play two of her series at the same time. Not a good move cuz you would assume that people will get sick of her with too much exposure. Anyway, Linda's acting is improving very little over the past few dramas yet she's been gaining popularity and leading roles. Is it me or is something fishy going on here???
omg sooo terriiblleee i cannot stand al the cheesyness...... normally i would like these types of magical and kungfu stuff.. but gawd do they use soo much CGI ...... imo based on first ep that gurng geem is 10x better then this ..... and when that girl bis a mole on her face and big lips i didn't even laugh cause u can see the lip line to make it look bigger... kinda pathetic ......... hope future ep gets better if not i wont be watching it
touche, CGI are like very BS, even Journey to the West and "Feng Sen Bang" was much better in terms of CGI. God i hate Benny Chan -.- but Casper Chan is kinda cute ^_^
yh but journey to the west is amazing drama .. its one of the legends and plus dickey chueng was the monkey loool soo it was "ho ho tai" oh yh twins was in it
Hmmm.....Not to sure about this series (Based on first episode) Usually am a big fan of the old series esp the classics with the old fighting one, but this is not one of those it would appear, lots of reliance of computer effects. Nevertheless will give it this more time, hope the series will get better, will post later to let others if I think its worth watching or not Forgot to mention that I think there is two version on this series going on, one which is 45 min and one which is 30 min, as the 30 min one is going to replace Three Best Selling (Not sure if that is the name of the series, but its the really long one)
ehhh.... i didnt like that friend of linda's. she's so snobby. and linda's character is like O___o! and i absolutely hate benny chan's character. its soo, eww. but i'll give this series a chance and watch the second episode. >___<
actually, I am kinda enjoying the storyline and the layouts and the characterization. Although the story is reused, and changed around a bit, it's still alot of fun to watch.
Ok just finished watching the 2nd episode and i can say its definately a lot better than the first, but that wasnt hard to beat was it? Some funny moments in it and has the potential to be an alrite drama, still early to judge though
You just gotta watch it with an open mind and not give too much expectations. What else can you expect from mythical series? It's refreshing to watch something so 'mou lei tao' after so many serious shows...

Yea that the phase, its that cheesy smiles and hand gesture that she does when saying it that annoys me, it doesn't go well.
Normally, I do not enjoy things with lots of cheesy CGI and I never cared for dramas with Benny Chan....but I am somewhat enjoying this! It's entertaining enough!
Up to ep3 and I actually thought it was pretty good. Don't like the graphics, but otherwise, pretty interesting
I think i'm in agreement with everyone's irritation @ the overuse of CG. On the story, I think you do need to get to eps 5-10 before you can really judge if the series is going to be a dud or not. I think only the Condor hero series had me hooked from the first eps....
tbe its 20 episodes (with each 45 minutes) only tvb ~ hd jade channel is gonna broadcast during 20 minutes each episodes, and thats the reason it has 44 episodes total. ontopic: im act not a great fan of fantasy / CGI series, but i like linda chung, i think shes cute and her reflecting as a very positive girl is good but too much? and benny is ridiculous but still funny. at first bit lame, but the further i look the more i think it has some potentials...so hope its gonna get better o,O soon?
