A press conference was held today at Macau's MGM Grand to announce details of Andrew Lau (劉偉強)'s latest directorial presentation Look For A Star <星夢奇緣>. The film's cast members including Shu Qi (舒淇), Andy Lau (劉德華), Denise Ho (何韻詩) and Zhang Hanyu (張涵予) also attended, led onto the stage by a group of club dancers. Adorned in a beautiful gown and some precious jewellery, Shu Qi revealed that she plays a casino dealer in the show and she will have a romance with an eligible bachelor, played by Andy. She smiled that as she will have to wear a tight-fitting dancing dress in the film, she has been steering clear of her favourite foods in order to keep her slim figure. Shu Qi said that she had become good friends with other ladies in the film, including Ella Koon (官恩娜), Elle Choi (小雪), Pei Pei (裴唯瑩) and Po Po (蒲蒲) and they were scolded once by the director for making so much noise on the set as they played and chatted together. Asked if she would like to find romance with a rich man in real life, Shu Qi replied that she knows many rich person, but for them to be rich and handsome is not very common. She smiled that Andy's character is a very good man and it was very hard not to fall in love with him. She explained that in one scene, he even helps her put her shoes on, using his hand as a shoe horn, but it would be very difficult to find such a lovely guy in real life. When Andy was asked about how Shu Qi is afraid of falling in love with him for real, he laughed that she has already fallen in love with him and he has fallen in love with her, so there may be a future between them yet. Asked if he was worried about someone being upset at him making such a statement, Andy smiled that he was fine. Denise plays Andy's personal assistant in the film and her character is quite a powerful businesswoman. She said frankly that her past movie roles were predominantly bit parts, so she suffered a blow to her confidence, but after working with a superstar like Andy, she has bounced back. Errr I wouldn't say that but wasn't Shu Qi like an X-rated actress or something? Pairing up with Andy... I don't like the idea. xD
lol maybe not X Rated, more like Softcore, lol but still i dont like the Idea, the story sounds meh, lets hope Andy Lau's appearance boosts ratings for this movie
