Water Works for Weight Loss

    Nothing quells the appetite like water, lots and lots of water. Start out with two quart bottles in the morning and carry one with you to work or wherever you go. If you like, divvy up the 64 ounces of water into eight (8-ounce) bottles or four pint (16-ounce) bottles to carry around with you all day. Freeze half of them the night before and they will last all day, even in a hot car. Keep some unfrozen so they will be ready to drink immediately.

    Yes. You will have to make more frequent bathroom trips, but it is worth it. Drink your 64 ounces of water before dinner, if possible, so you're not up half the night going to the bathroom.

    Water not only fills you up and lessens your appetite, it prevents those "hungry horrors" we all encounter when our blood sugar drops and we reach for cookies, candy, ice cream, fries or other high-calorie treats. Water also flushes out the system, rids the body of bloat and toxins and rosies up the complexion. Now, start splashing.

    lol its why u dont drink too much, if you dont die, ur bladder hurts of working too hard, lol this seems like a good idea to lose weight ^^

    too much water makes me go bathroom almost every 10 mins. lols anyway, i heard drink water is good for you health. But not sure about weight loss.

    there was a story lately about a man who died from drinking excessive water over 3 days or something because when he drank water, it made his mouth really comfortable as it was constantly in pain, however he died and apparently water flushes out some of your body defensive or something like that. bah, need to find that story. i read it in a newspaper about 2 weeks ago.

    not sure about weight loss, i dont drink water that much even though its good for your bladder, i tend to drink tea more (Green tea or Japanese Black Soya Tea). but i remember drinking 7 cups of water as punishment for a card game we played in University and i ended up throwing up >.< it was awful......

    but i suppose water is useful for weight loss, cos after sports, you drink water to quench your thirst and you dont have the urge for food and you sometimes skip food after sports. well i did anyway :D

    i drink a lot of water but it doesn't seems to help me.. and constantly going toilet i heard aint good.. so not sure how should it goes..

    yeah i heard GREEN TEA is good for weight loss... i guess wzter is too, tonly to an extent though

    The fact that you used to starve yourself for months might just be the problem. Whenever you suddenly start eating less, your body's metabolism adjusts to compensate for the caloric energy loss. The result is that your body becomes very stingy and burns fat less efficiently. So whenever you go back on your regular diet schedule, you will end up gaining weight. The key is to keep a positive mindset and continue what you're doing now. You can do it.

    water but gotta have multi-vita drink at least once a day to keep your electrolytes in balance. also suggest some fruits and light soup. water alone will hurt your system but that depend on how many days we are talking about and everyone's body is different so the receptiveness is also different. for guys, you will lose muscle if you do that and can't work out since you're not getting any "sugar" from drinking water alone.
     
  15. yeah drinking too much water can kill u... that's y U NEED TO PEE if u drink loads of water... if ur constantly flushing out the water u won't die... a lot of models drink around 3-4L of water a day n they're still fine...

    U die from drinking too much water not coz u don't pee... its coz when u drink a lot of water u flush out your bodies electrolytes which are essential to keep you alive... i.e. allows enzymes to work.. allows your muscles to contract - heart keeps beating... keeps your brain working.... if you lose all those eletrolytes... you can't do all that therefore you die...

    if you really want to lose weight... do exercise everyday... 30 mins of moderate intensity exercise...... consult ur doc first if you have heart problems :xd:

    Don't expect results instantly!!!
