yea, most likely. my previous microwave had a non-moving platform, and the same with my relatives'. i think it's the older models that have the non-moving platform thought... newer ones have spinning for better heating.

 

Yeah, older model Microwaves didn't have a spinning carousel that auto rotated your food. You were instructed to heat for half the time as a first stage, then afterwards, turn the food 90 degrees and then complete the heating. Also, you can tell its fake simply from the missing microwave shield on the door (its just glass in the video). Great clip, lots of imagination. When's the sequel?
