I decided to look for it after watching Forensic Heroes 2

    http://www.freemosquitoringtones.org/

    Which ones can you hear??

Warning: may cause damage to your ears according to Dr. Koo of Forensic Heroes 2 due to prolonged exposure

The last one I could hear is the 20khz one

  2. Maverick

    Maverick Lord Vader

    SPOILER ALERT!!!
You forget to warn people that this is a possible SPOILER to the serie.

BTW it also depends on how good your speakers are.
If you have loosy speakers you definatly will not hear very high frequencies -smart

I remember these... The "drive away the teenagers" ringtone (aka "adult-proof" ringtone)

I don't follow the whatever series you talk about, but the science isn't quite right for sure. While prolonged exposure will definitely cause damage to your auditory functions, human auditory functions deteriorates after they reach adulthood, so with or without exposure (prolonged or otherwise), you will eventually be able perceive less and less frequencies.

^wouldn't say the science ain't right though.. I mean it could just mean that the deterioration happens faster..

Hiake kills the post with her logic yet again :p

Well, it's not my fault that HK series got dodgy scripwriters who don't know the heads and tails of things (I was so royally pissed at all those cop shows, then the legal shows, then the forensic shows). It's kind of like, "well, I saw Prime Suspect, let me go rip it off and write a crappy script with murders and cops who don't know the first thing about procedures"

Plus, I have a rep to uphold :p

    I remember this lol
really annoying, but not everyone can be affected by the frequency, usually older people don't get affected.
