For those who've been to HK and China, have you ever seen donut shops like Krispy Kreme, Tim Hortons, etc. around? I've been to a few places, and I just can't remember seeing any. Even in TVBs drama, no one ever seems to eat donuts.

Hope this is the right section..... not sure if it belongs to food or this one. :/ Feel free to move it mods.

i don't know...but why would you want donuts when there's EVERY OTHER AWESOME FOOD TO EAT

egg tarts, fish balls, egg waffles, buns, etc.

no but krispy creme donuts are so nice. it would be a shame if they didn't have the option. of course u don't need to get it but it would just be nice to have the option in the first place.

In Mong Kok is a donut shop. But some bakers make them too.
But I'm not sure if they taste the same

Donuts are really something American, so why should this be in a Chinese TVB drama???

Partially, doughnuts are for the expats so they feel more at home? -cool2

I've heard of people from Malaysia requesting people bring them Krispy Kremes from HK (hence the store at the airport)

  10. really? donuts would be practically the last on my list of things to devour when im in HK or any other asian country..... but im sure krispy kreme is somewhere to be found......

There are a lot of Krispy Creme and Dunkin Donuts shops. You don't see HK ppl eating donuts b/c of the diet trend and some ppl think the donuts are too sweet. Asian ppl have a light diet. Also it's not worth it bc it's so expensive and ppl rather spend that money for 2pm tea time special
