try searching on google, there should be a lot of programs there which can help u to convert the files.
I believe WinAvi works for this. go download it and try, i have WinAvi 8 and from the drop down list of inputs i saw .mkv.
rele, never knew it worked for this also, but yea winavi does most conversions for video and it is prob the best as it does it so quick and as long as u encode by quality, the converted video is pretty gd.
i tried using winavi to convert mkv to avi, but every time i convert it, a message appears saying that i cant decode the file! it may b broken or the relative decoder is not intalled what can i do?
you can also try this site http://dhost.info/jack1024/index_en.php try converting MKV into FLV then AVI if you dont mind the trouble
hmm. but that will just take more time and the quality will be worse as the more times u convert it, the quality drops slightly each time with the conversion.
either you don't have the codec to play .mkv, in that case get the k-lite codec pack or whatever. Or like BigM said you might have RMP 11 and that might have fucked up your conversions...also you should check the settings and mess around with it, you might hit the right note accidentally lols
yup i do have real player 11 installed, i can also convert rmvb file as well. If Klite codec works, can anyone supply a link pls? thnkQ
just google search..or goto download.com..but you can also pick it from my shared ddl prog-list..see my sig beneith "NEW CODEC" ;]
