lol i think politics is pretty geeky too, cause if you were to ask someone who don't watch news and read newspaper and such, they wouldn't really care. just like star wars, people just band wagon onto that shit, which includes me i must say.
^ i honestly think politics is one of the least 'geeky' things in the world... politics applies to every single individual on the earth... and the ramifications of politics are immense. The choice between barrack obama and Hillary clinton could be the difference between millions of deaths in the middle east, continuing poverty for third world nations, the standard of living for all americans. As I see it, an individual cannot change the world in any way, unless he or she becomes involved in politics.
but people would consider it a geeky subject. I mean most people wouldn't give a crap about what's happening in the world anyways. but since what i say sounded offensive to you, then i would call it something smart people will do, or conscious people would be a better word then. But like i said the general population could care less about what they do, they would just vote by looks/public appearance/ popularity and shit like that. And what else can we do, for all we know, they can turn into a total different person when they are in control. Power plays a big part in changing or controlling their minds or cause them to make different decisions from the ones they promised and such.
