Heya, Well as topic says.. i am planinng to buy a sony vaio laptop in hong kong. This is due some shit with my granddad who is financing a part of it and he wants to see it. So back to topic... I am a pretty multitasker, the most things i think i will use on my future laptop are surfing, office, watching movies, somethimes some games, burning and some lil things. And after searching a while for a laptop who fits me i found the Vaio CR editions. It's smaller/less heavier then the multimedia laptops of sony (fz serie) Besides the CR edtions are stylisch and got the av button (click and play) which means playing movies/photos without booting windows. And thats a superb thing for me i guess. BUt the thing now is i can;t really find any reviews from the newest CR editions from hong kong.. There are older reviews from CR edittions which are ofc old and its from another type of CR. So i want to know do you know anyone who already expierenced with a CR edition or do you know somehwhere i can find good reviews... then tell me! Im currently using http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/se...d=1005127&navigationPath=n32009n100299n100325 which is the same as the one you are planning to buy except i have 2.4ghz. Im loving every bit of it and if you only do what you mentioned, you wont be disappointed in it at all.
Vaios aren't as bad as macs.......lol i would prefer a vaio over a mac anyday XD and at the price you could get a better cheaper one......
hes been laying low lol. trying to get away from all the pedobear signs of approval. but anyway the price of the laptop isn't too bad but it isn't that cheap either. my friend got a vaio like that but for £600 with 3gb of ram and everything else the same but with better graphics card lol. tbh laptops aren't that expensive in the uk these days.
Ye true for a lower price i can get another brand with better specs but still i want a vaio just love it. And ye the fz series do have better specs but they arent as stylisch as the CR serie And i dont need that big laptop to be honest.. i mean within 2-3 years the laptop is again aged + i am not high end user like gamers (A) Only much multitasking, sometimes some games and watching movies so.. But the main point is the graphics card.. i mean the other preferences and specs of this CR edition CR35 are okey for my using but the grapics card.. 128 mb dedicated.. does it also got a turbocache or shit likethat cause 128mb isnt that muhc for lil gaming. Anyway got some reviews? who got expierence with this laptop or know someone Tell me all Jojo
Btw Wind.. You got one with 2.4 ghz but what about your graphics card also a x2300 or as your site mentioned an intelgrapics accelator? Pff All those CR series/types from different countries got different specs -.- And mostly those outside hongkong the CR series are better bah.
then again with a laptop, its not rele designed for gaming so u don't rele need that great a graphics card.
that laptop will do all you need except play graphic intensive games but its decent for all the things listed. as nice as the sony's are i'm not to fond of them and on top of that i hate vista more than anything else...so i'm stayin clear from it
so it was wind leaving all along and not angie!!!!!! -ohmy i've speculated on that for a while. -smart anyways yea vaio computers suck, overpriced with less features than others and also too much bloatware. But i think its okay if you really insist on getting one for their design or whatever. just don't get the overpriced one and stick with a cheaper vaio and your good.
kool can i ask are those models thick?? cos ive seen very very thick laptops and i tottally hate them lol
i have a similar model of that sony.. but its an NR model.. same shell almost... it isn't so good.. HP/Compaq is same thickness.. Dell is almost same.. might be thinner... if your getting an 1525 its a bit thinner.. if your getting XPS from Dell... its a lot thinner at bottom but at the end its a big thicker there lol
Sony's tend to be pretty durable... It will be a nice buy but I would def look around at the prices of other labtops that have the same specs...
firstly sony vaio are good laptops but too costly, but your grands paying for it so it doesnt matter. if you use that money on another brand laptop you can get a really good one. toshiba and HP makes good laptops. think about them. one of the HP PAVILION laptops is pretty good. my friend just got the limited edition one. its nice and small.
