Yup.Linda broke down and cried for an hour. She was sick and was acting in 2 dramas and a movie.Such a responsible artiste.Steven broke the bubble and told this out. ahha.

2Face : She plays an evil character in HOG2? I tot she is evil in Jewel Splendor?

    I don't think she's evil in HOG2. 2Face probably made a mistake. She plays a doctor

Linda has IMPROVED SO MUCH IN THIS SERIES!

Linda chung's acting was awesome in this series.
At first, i thought her "vulgar" character was kinda overdone and fakish,
but at some parts believable- hey this is her first time doing such a role
so it may not be her acting, rather the audience's already perceived version of her as the good girl....

however, when she started yelling and crying at her dad (outside the police station)
in chapter 15, i was like ohhhh mann! her acting has skyrocketed, it was so believable it
made me wanna cry too! Her crying skills is sooo good now. Good on you Linda!

the bad girl role doesn't suit her very well because she has an innocent look on her face
she didn't seem to be angry enough (by her good girl looking face) at a scene where she was supposed to be more angry (about something that I won't tell about her co-worker, so I won't spoil anything), that's why I think a good girl role suits her better
but she did pretty good so far

^ Rofl, Phil, why are you always dragging Katie into many situations that are unreasonble to understand.

Whoa...Linda jst brought her acting to greater heights in eps 14-16. Her crying scenes were really convincing, and the way she stuttered and stammered through was something I've never seen in her acting before.

dreyvii, I SO agree with u. Linda's performance especially her crying scenes are so good. Like in Epi.15, the scene she was crying in front of the police station and Epi.16 during her scenes with Steven Ma. Splendid. Convinced till I kinda felt how she was feeling...

I also agree she is getting much better, but I still think she has a way to go yet. At least her acting is a bit more acceptable now then the previoius shows.

I think the scenes after Hana is where she excelled in this series. Her crying wasn't too fake and it was heart felt.

Of course Linda's crying is great. She has plenty of experience in doing it and now she's reaching the new level, more realistic crying than just sobbing. It's a pleasure to watch her act.

Yeah, you guys can't imagine how delightful it is to see how she has acquired better acting skills. I was rewatching her scenes with steven in virtues of harmony, and also her scenes from other previous series, and OMG...you actually see her grow!!

tien317: Yeah! Absolutely...her breakup scene with Steven in Eps 16 was so touching.

^Haha...yeah, kind of fast huh? They break up in the beginning, get together again at the end of the episode, and decide to get married. Lol. I hope they don't try to rush through the ending though...

Well, I think you kind of have to expect that there are some parts of the story that will be a little rushed. The series is called "A Jouney Called Life" so they have to expereince many of life's challenges and happiness (i.e. tough younger years, meet each other, get together, breakup, get back together, get married, have children, and be happy family). Plus 20 episodes don't make it any easier.

The good thing is that the story line is great and that Linda's partnered with Steven is a pleasure to watch.
