    Hey everyone,

I guess this is directed the Canadian PAers. I'm going to Tdot, Mtl, and quebec city in two weeks, and I want to know the following

    - what can I do there?

    - where can I buy clothes (cheap)? I need a new wardrobe (I'm a guy)

    - where can I party?

*Note for TO, don't say Pacific Mall or Vaguhn Mills, because I'm already going to hit those places.

    -scooter

You won't get cheap clothings in Montreal or even Quebec City, unless you wanna go to some used clothings store, there's a few on St-Laurent. But you have to really search and such, so unless you really into those places... :/ Canada ain't China yknow.... we have to same shops as the States (taking that you're from the other side of the borders)

What can you do in Montreal..... Depends where you will be staying. I would say, Old Montreal. Check out the Basilique of Notre-Dame. And Old Port for sure, especially this time of year, it's not as crowded as it is in summer. If you go at night, there's most likely no one there. Chinatown if you like. Shopping Malls and boutiques on Ste-Catherine Street. There's a famous strip club in from of the Eaton Center if you're into that. St-Joseph Oratory is nice to visit too, but you have to get there by metro. or bus... Take the bus and go to the top of the Mont-Royal mountain to get a whole view of Mtl. There's nothing at the Olympic Stadium ever since the Expos went away. But, you can go to the Botanic Garden and Biosphere. Planetarium if you're into that.

As for clubs, go to Tonic, Orchid or Tokyo Bar if you wanna be around asians. And yeah, try you poutine, the best place would be "La Banquise". but you can just go to "La Belle Province" or McDonald and it would do. >_>

Quebec City.... been there once, there's nothing. Although, the Old Quebec is nice, the stuff there are way overpriced.

oh, i think the place was called the kowloon restaurant

and yeah, regina's china street is pretty ghetto... its basically native ville anyway
