watched the documentry... found it very intersting..
but then again who really eats mcds everyday anyways..

Its a nice treat.... but then your body would react the same way if you u just ate only one thing for a month..

I had a friend that went kinda vegatarian for a month, she would only eat vegetables and guess what?
One she didn't eat her vegetables properly and the doctor make her go back to eating meat...
Oh btw she only did this to lose weight.. but it was really affecting her health and she was a lil sick.. and made it even worse by by just eating vegggies...

ps: Chicken nuggets.. just fried out of the deep fryer is heavenly food!!

poor mcdonalds...I think that the company is so unfairly target. But I still think eating fast food should only be done once in a long long time. It's true -- bad food = cheap food. It's inevitable... It's in the genes and so if your parents are fat, then you'll most likely end up being chunky as well...

    the moral: everything in moderation.

The thing is that fast food shouldn't even be eaten in moderation. According to the documentary, most doctors/physicians the filmmaker interviewed recommended eating fast food once or less a motnh, which is probably a lot different than national averages.

The sicker thing, I think, about fast food is all the chemicals and preservatives they add to the food to make it taste better and addicting. One of the extras on the DVD showed McDonalds french fries in a container like 9 weeks after they were purchased--they didn't change one bit since the purchase date. Disgusting.

I used to be skinny, I would eat and eat, and not gain any weight, and what I was eating was not healthy. Now I eat and drink right, and go to the gym 6 days a week. I'm much bigger, and I feel a lot healthier.

Obesity is a growing problem, from what I've seen, people are so busy they don't take the time to eat right. It's all about processed and microwavable, and fast foods. Additionally, instead of going out and being active they go home and sit on their butts all day.

    Yea that was disturbing.

Can't we pick on someone else other than McDs...How about KFC for once. Someone will straight up DIE if they ate KFC 3 times a day.

All fast food are bad ! The amount of chemicals they put into their food to make it taste good will kill you..lol..!

I think home cooking is still the best if you can. Most fast food are easy to come by and there is no need to prepare that is why it creates a bad eating habit for all.

It definitely is a growing problem....and hard as I try to keep in shape: which in not very hard, I've keep going back forth about 10lbs in my weight....which is enough so that certain clothes will look terrible with that addition.

Even though the documentary targets McDonalds, most people I know take it beyond just them. I've only seen portions of it but would love to watch the whole thing.

Wow, they blame Mcdonald for obesity yet deny humanity of their conscience and refuse to exercise. Way to go....

Blaming McDonalds for the obesity is not totally wrong. Afterall, their food is high in calories & high in either fats or simple sugars. I think the main responsibility still lies with the consumers. Be educated and eat well (healthy).

I don't eat MacD regularly to begin with, as I know how terrible the food is, both nutrition (or lack of) wise AND taste wise -- I know that there's no milk in the milkshake and ice-cream, I know the scramble egg is a yolk-coloured mix in a tank about 1m in height etc etc. Super size me just amazed me for that guy's dedication -- he really could have died during that month!
