And release it earlier, which helped them a lot. Microsoft don't care about HD dvd. The only care for themselves
i know and also the 360 will be inferior to the ps3 as the blu ray drive will allow it to play blu-ray games which can contain much more data than dvds, which will mean better graphics etc. so the 360 i guess is at a losing battle now.
If MS had put HD DVD as standard, how many people in the world would already have a hd-dvd player ready and who do you thing the big studios would be supporting One of the big reasons blu ray did so well is because of the ps3 i think MS were a bit short sighted. They released the 360 way too early, i mean the over heating issues and rings of death should all have been taken care of before the thing even hit the shelves... oh and Toshiba is taking over a processor making factories for the cell chip or something i think
Not yet, but they might reach 360 soon. PS3 sales have grown a lot! And I expect to see sales go up even higher with this HD battle over.
