hi i just got a new phone but it does not have chinese language on it... i just wondering if there anyone can help me out...

If your phone came from HK, by default, when you master reset the phone, you should have an option to choose chinese during initialization.

 

ye that is true, but if u've bought it elsewhere then it won't have chinese language installed and the only way i reckon is to go to hk and get it flashed there. then it should work.

 

ok.... but this phonr is a smartphone... it should allow u to add language on it... i just want to download the language pack... i found one on sony site but it does not have chinese....is there another ppl out there can share,..

 

I doubt that flash files would be made available from other sources apart from SE. Try choosing SE site HK region then do a software update. Besides, you cannot simply add a language pack into the phone even though its a smart phone. The only phones that allow you to do so is Pocket PC.

try sending an email to sony ericsson asking about the language pack and see what they reply with.

 

you sure it was successfully installed bc SE implemented a system that doesnt update if you have the latest firmware.

 

well.. for other mobile i have like my w810i i have try to add i mean flash the phone it work fine... but then when i upgrade the phone to w960 i have read the spec it should have chinese language on it... just have to add it on... just wondering if HK ppl got the pack or... US ppl.....

 

i guess u can flash the phone where they provide an unlocking service. u can def flash in hk. theres like tons of places in hk which do it. not so sure about usa though.

 

i flash the w810 by myself.... usng a software called XS++.. if u need more information let me knw kk...

doubt it would..but who cares shop probably does it the same way..
if any fink mess up just take it to the shops init..the r pro so any fink u mess up

hahahha well... u need download a software call XS++ i think the version 3.1 is the latest.... u need to find the main n Fs firmware for chinese.... this is there website to download the software n the firmware...
