How to make a girl happy?

I think gifts is the cheap way out; my man usually makes something handmade for me . And, if you really want to show her you love her, pick her up everyday from work. Instead of buying a cake, make a cake for her. Instead of giving her money to shop, take her shopping.

If gifts are what makes a girl happy, then they're shallower than the kiddie pool. I think if you like each other enough to go out with each other, your presence around one another should make her happy already.

I don't see anything where I mentioned depriving someone of food. I mentioned gifts. If you meant starving by something else, please elaborate.
