Tuesday January 15, 2008 Hong Kong TVB series “Suspicious Love” filmed a car crash scene at an industrial area in Tseung Kwan O. Around one o’clock that afternoon, there was an accident involving a remote helicopter nearby. Even though Michael Miu and Anita Yuen didn’t witness the accident, they were scared by the description of the accident. Anita pointed out that maybe there was no enforced law [for remote helicopter usage] so hobbyists should be protecting themselves. Michael said that they were on lunch break when that accident happened so they did not know about it. They heard how a person was hit in the head by the helicopter blades from crew members. The person lost a lot of blood because the helicopter blades were like knives. Anita said: “There is a lot of force when the blades rotate. Is there a law or permit that you need to operate a remote helicopter in an open space? You need to have protective measures for your own safety if there is no law about it. It would be too hot to wear a safety hat but it is safer so there is no way out of it.” Also, the scene for the series described how Anita and Jacky had their mouths taped shut since they were kidnapped and kept in a small truck. Michael was a bodyguard that was chasing after the truck to rescue them. In the end, there would be a car accident with a vehicle flipping over. The kidnapper, Oscar Leung, would be hurt. Anita smiled and said: “In the series, I was kidnapped because I am a nosy woman who involved herself in a rich man’s son kidnapping case.” Michael divulged that filming this series was not too hard. He thanked Anita because Anita needs 12 hours of rest per day. In mid-March, he would start filming the third installment of “The Academy”. “The Academy” and “On the First Beat” were popular series so TVB decided to do a third installment. In “The Academy”, Michael was very stylish and handsome. TVB recruited Michael in the third installment because “On the First Beat” lost that extra spark without Michael. Michael would be a villain in the new series. Sammul Chan and Ron Ng would be comparing their acting skills with Michael. On the other hand, Michael Tao did not get to stay in the new installment. Michael Miu said that he hasn’t acted in a villain so it would be a new experience. He said: “Now, audience knows that characters in a series are just fictional characters. So I don’t need to worry about being rejected by the audiences. I don’t know how bad a villain I need to portray. That would be up to the producers.” The producer 黃偉聲 explained: “The storyline is that Sonija Kwok died so the story about about Michael Tao and Joey Yung would not continue. They may do guest appearance for one or two episode to explain why they left.” He disclosed this story would be about emergency units. He is looking for female partners for Michael, Sammul and Ron. He hopes that new pairings would produce a fresh feeling to the series. credits: asian-gossip.blogspot.
wtf another dismissal from the story when like michael tao was like the main character of the last one and ron ng dumped tavia for joey and shes gone too lol, on the first beat sucked after the first few episodes though. and michael miu is back as a villain now, how they gonna do the sammul chan flashbacks now haha, well not too excited on this sequel...but michael miu and anita yuen are cool
well i'm wondering how there going to pull this one off. It's gonna be kind of weird watching micheal mui in the 3rd installment since he alrdy died in the first one once already. and how many realations is ron gonna have before he actually has a stable one....ah wellz either way i'll probably be watching this once it comes out, lets hope it's gonna be good -clapclap
i thought Michael died...lol...i think its gonna be OK though....second 1 was average...but wht will they do now?....put them in training for the 3rd time?lol
W-what??? hmm....didn't ron end up with joey???so does that mean tvb is trying to make ron have a short relationship with her and i find that it's a bad idea to have an actor/actress come bak to the series as another character when they already died. That just doesn't make sense. I just hope it's going to be a good series though.
This is so typical of TVB drana scriptwriting--if an actor/actress is sucessful on an instalment, and without them reveals drops in ratings, then they make up something to include that actor again no matter how weird/contracdictory it is. And the relationship thing is always so disconnected with prequels, because they can't scheldule artistes or they want to promote new artistes to the screen. I wish they improve their storylines. I really hope their is actual new talent in scriptwriting that can equate with levels of overseas drama series.
yeh i was thinking of that too if they want a fresh start why dont they rename the whole thing like like a brand new series without anything to do with the academy or wotsoevr its kinda awkward seeing sone who died in a series and appearing in the sequel as a different character why?
i m thinking will it be abit weird .... cos, just few episode to explain on why Mic Tao and Joey Yung where left and mean Ron again break wif Joey and abit same as earlier how he left Tavia ... haiz... but if Tavia wil be back again on Academy 3, then the story i think might be abit nicer kua... haha.. http://mic7879fans.multiply.com
tvb should stop making all these sequels. everytime they make one they kill off people from previous series. look at what they did for armed reactions 1,2,3..
i honestly dont understand why they have to make soo many sequels of dramas that were a "big" hit!! it jus ruins everything
