ok well got a 8gb iphone only working in o2 in UK and current version is on v 1.1.2(3b48b) and i know i cant update it or the phone will be locked and i can never unlock it but i need to update it so it cann allow me to play games so does anyone that knows how i can get my way around it and keep it in the same current version and be able to play games? thanks for advice and reply in advance>.<
Play games as in NES, PSX, GBA and such? You would just need to jailbreak it (if it isn't already). And once it's jailbroken you can again unlock your phone.
They actually do. But most of them require that the phone be jailbreaked. Apple is planning to release development tools for users to create third party programs this year though.

I can help you. I have a jailbroken iPod Touch. And to the person who said Apple wouldn't allow nes, psx, and gba (all of the emulators play relatively well on most games). And it ISN'T allowed, it voids the warranty once you jailbreak it. If you're going to jailbreak it, I suggest you read these two sites: http://iphone.unlock.no/ and http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forum Both have enough information for you to jailbreak your iPhone and unlock it again if it should happen to relock.
is there a program anyone knows i can use for iphone to video record? iphone cant video record for some reasons...
There is a video recording application in beta right now. It only records for 5 seconds @ around 10 fps, and there is no saving. Once it is out of beta it should be able to record as long as you like @ 45-50 fps w/ saving. I'll tell you when it's released.
