pretty good~ but unfortunately, im not very familiar with american pop music, so i don't really know the songs he plays... on the topic of piano adaptations of popular music, here's a guy who covers some hk and tw pop.~ he's just amateur, but very good, imho. http://www.youtube.com/user/ccystanley enjoy~
He's amazing. :O Deff suprised he wasn't asian aha. I swear everything that's been played on a piano sounds way better than the original pieces.
yeah this davidsides guy is pretty good .. my favorite one is apologize. i only saw this guy because i was looking the song up ^-^
thats becuz he wrote the songs himself after listening to the original ^_^, thats y he's special good hehe
Hee hee...I liked this...impressed me = ) Loved the way his fingers looked like they were flowing on the piano keys
yay, secret <3 this is my absolute fav. part, although it's kinda over synthesized, it's still rather entertaining
That's kind of cool... Guess I need to see that film... It reminds me of Legend of 1900, a favourite film of mine: Part 1: Part 2 (the last part was totally exaggerated, but if it's drama who cares ): It was WAR on piano (for the title of "best jazz piano player" perhaps?)... Now here's the bonus: A flying piano
^You should give it a try. I thought it was pretty good. Haha...why was the piano swinging around the room? If the seas were that rough, I'd expect everyone on board to panic! Lol
LOL, it's a film set in early 20th century, people doesn't panic as easily I mean, look at Titanic! They were totally calm until they saw the problem with their own eyes.
Well, it was set a few decades before Titanic (the real event), but you don't see fancy cruise ship like that nowadays, they are mostly too well-lit nowadays.
Ear? I was told that most people at piano gr 8 onwards should be able to replicate a short piece without any major trouble, plus, Chinese music are pretty monotonous (and predictable) in terms of cord and such... So I figure it isn't THAT difficult Then again, I don't play the piano so I can't be certain of that... Although I can definitely sing a K song after hearing it once or twice (given that lyrics are provided)
