hells no. this ipod is gonna keep on keepin' on till the end of time. it's only 15 GB and so much thicker then any of the ipods now. i don't care. i love my ipod. it will never die. my friends see it and they are like, "omg...just get a new one". i honestly don't see the big deal in having the newest thing. what's the point? as soon as u get the new thing, it's old cause something else is out and better. i'm not up for that. i work my ass off for my money and dont plan on blowing it on things just cause "it's the newest thing to have."
Well how much battery life you got on it? My fourth gen iPod died on me after about 2.5 years. Not only the battery, but the software itself was damaged and iTunes no longer supported the softwar for my iPod so I couldn't format it O_O. :( But I'm really surprised that the third gen is still usable after so long. I would have thought the battery would have lost enough power to declare it obsolete.
battery life? i've never changed the battery...is that even possible? i've had the thing for like 4 years. well close to four years. on a full charge, i usually get about 4 hour listening time. my itunes works fine. just the uploading part is a bit of a pain cause the uploader thing is all screwy. but other then that, i have no complaints.
I see... Well you're one the lucky ones I guess. My friend has a third gen ipod and his battery lasts him about 2 hours, when it should last 8.
damn what can you do with 2 hours of battery when you have music in the GB's anyways i've known someone who has their battery life last in the minutes haha......all i gotta say it UPGRADE. but yea if you upgrade kinda hard to find the right time to do so cause prices changes all the time. and on the ipod nanos and such, you can get a 16gb flash player for $199 now and it's gonna be cheaper later soo ipod's and zune flash players are not that worth it, probably only because of the popular brand names and in comparison to alot of the cheaper ones, the better design.
i got 3rd generation ipod, and i don't expect to buy a new one the new nanos are fugly :((( it's so fat looking, i like the thin/long look better
lol sansa view is $150 for 8gb and $200 for 16gb.. same as creative zen i guess.. since creative zen is slowly dropping in price.. so yea... if your not in rush for mp3 just wait
the new nano is so fat and ugly...while the previous version is PHAT and SEXY lol...lucky i bought mine before the FAT one came out........my god sis has a pink ipod and i bought her a blue skin..it looked NICEEEEEEEEEEEEE
i just hate ipodsss!!! lolz bad thing about the old 2nd gen is.. can't play video and screen small...
i consider an ipod an MP3 player lol....so y i need it for videos?? i can't watch movies on screens smaller than 12"..it just doesn't work
lolz i bet theres a hack that allows you to watch video on that ipod even though its like a 1.3-1.5" hehe
same price. but creative's triumphs in screen size, picture quality, sound quality (+++), design quality (smaller size) and sdhc expansion capacity (micro max= 8gb regular max= 16gb, creative supports regular)....other than that sansa has the advantage of 10 more hour battery and probably better navigation (never tried it so dunno)....
I love the new creative (8GB, 16GB) player. I would have got it, but it was pretty expensive at the time -sweat
now 16gb is at a reasonable $199 at most places in the state, imma about to get one, all it has to do is drop $50 which it's bound to do or i'll wait for the 32gb and expand that to 48gb of flash memory player hehe....imagine 48gb of memory in a credit card size player, sick.
pfft.. i wouldn't need that more memory for songs.. right now my zune only has like 40 songs... i barely listen to that much music.. lolz >.< why need 32 gb... 4-8gb is enough for me -whistle
