$425 for a 60gb is pretty damn good.. considering it has 4 games n 2 controllers.. you'll be all set to play without having to buy extra stuff... and since he's your friend doubt he'll give you something that was abused?? although I personally like my ish brand spankin' new ripping it outta the box and looking at the shininess.. lol but that's if you got the extra cash to burn.. and don't expect another price drop for PS3... it's freakin' like $500 for the 80gb n $399 for the 40gb.. what more do you want!?!
i agree with ecko the ps3 is not going to drop in price anytime soon anymore bcos of the cost of the bluray drives are expensive.
I think he meant you shouldn't expect it to drop down to the price of a 360. Since 360 does not use an HD or Blu-Ray drive.
I take back my last statement. The 40GB PS3 is now the same price as a Xbox 360 pro. Both are at the $399 price tag.
we are still discussing whether he should buy it or not but the question is has he bought it yet? cos surely if hes bought it then there is no point talking about it.
hahah we'll still talk about it just for the hell of it... xbox360 pro.. does that come with the hd drive? how much space is on that? 399.99 best buy with just 2 games.. thas 20gigs less.. no backwards compatibility.. and 1 less controller.. 2 fewer games.. if you were to not pay extra 25 for a used one from your friend..
I finally got paid today and I was ready to buy the system but then I found out my friend put the PS3 on ebay to get more money!!!-cry2-cry2 Hopefully no one has bid on it so that I can still buy the system.-sweat Oh well I guess I will wait until metal gear or Tekken to come out for the PS3 to come out to buy a brand new spankin PS3.:(

So how long was he waiting your reply before putting it on ebay.. damn that was messed up.. why's he selling it anyways? jus go flaunt your new PS3 in his face when MGS comes out.. he'll prolly regret selling it.. I believe in June... Q2 2008.. read somewhere that they finished with the game and everything seems to be on track for release date.. so shouldn't be much of a delay..
^^It was kind of messed up. I told him last Friday that I would buy it but oh well didn't have the money at the time. I guess I will just wait till MGS comes out.
