LONDON (Reuters) - A British bus company has apologized to a girl who is led around on a leash by her boyfriend and describes herself as a human pet after one of its drivers threw her off a bus. Tasha Maltby, 19, told British newspapers she was the "pet" of her 25-year-old fiance Dani Graves. Pictures showed her dressed in black Gothic-style clothing with silver buckles on a silver chain -- which the driver of a bus from the firm Arriva took exception to. She told the Daily Mail newspaper Wednesday she was thrown off and told: "We don't let freaks and dogs like you on." Arriva would not comment on specifics but said it apologized if the couple felt they had been discriminated against. It added, however, that the driver was worried about safety and the company told Maltby to take the leash off in the future. "We have spoken to the driver who has talked about health and safety," a spokesman said. "Should she be attached to a chain and something happens on the bus, that could be dangerous. All we are saying is that she is very welcome to use the buses but not when she is on her lead." Maltby -- who lives on state benefits and got engaged in November -- said her choice of lifestyle might seem unusual but was harmless. "I am a pet," she told the Daily Mail. "I generally act animal-like and I lead a really easy life. I don't cook or clean and I don't go anywhere without Dani. It might seem strange but it makes us both happy. care to elaborate on that. whatever their personal habits, if the driver did indeed say that, ignorant fucker he be. shut the fuck up and drive the damn bus as they are paying for it.
I'm not saying it was right. I'm saying he should that other people on the bus most likely thought it was awkward. The bus driver just decided to be the one to say how awkward it was, when he should have just kept his mouth shut and kept going.
Freedom of speech, if people can wear whatever they want, then the driver have the right to express his opinion. I admit his method might not be right, but truthfully would I as a passenger want to ride a bus with little kids if I saw someone like that on the bus.
thas a lie..ive seen dogs on buses...!!!...it weird but yesh they're allowed to ride the bus...at half the fare and cannot sit on the seats.. one time i was on the bus..the driver let someone off and then yelled at the thug to "...TAKE YA FRIGGIN DOG OFF THE SEAT...!!!...."... it was mad scary... but yeh i dun see whut the big fuss is about...if they let real dogs whuts with fake/human dogs..??
damn don't yall know the dangers of a leash... what if the bus all of a sudden had to make a sharp turn and dude was holding the girl by the leash... Not a pretty sight..
I'v seen people who treats their dogs like real human, that's wierd. What's the big deal about someone who likes to be treaten as pet, dont make such a fuss about that... It's isn't that they dont buy their busticket....., Maybe he was jealous -sweat

OMG is that a new trend these days? What is the world coming to! I always thought humans preferred to think that they were superior to the animal kingdom because God gave them higher cortical functions...so why stoop so low? Remember when Jet Li played the role in the movie Unleashed or something? People were making so much noise about it, for the very same reasons!
