Sunday January 20, 2008 Hong Kong TVB artiste Angela Tong (湯盈盈) was attacked earlier today by a man in Wanchai's Spring Garden Lane area. As she passed by a shop at around noon, the man suddenly appeared and slapped her in the face. He then ran away and was chased by Angela's male assistants, who were with her at the time. Angela and one of her assistants were injured in the incident and were taken to hospital for treatment. At around 8pm this evening, Angela arrived at TVB City to continue filming for her series Housewife Stock God <師奶股神> and was met by reporters eager to find out more about the incident. She seemed very shaken and afraid as she recalled how suddenly it had happened and said that she had felt very faint and was suffering from headaches. She added that she did not know her assailant and did not know why he attacked her. Angela said that she had just finished filming with Kiki Sheung (商天娥) and had been for some lunch with her. As she had some other work, she did not leave with the group and stayed in the area. She remembered that someone tapped her on the shoulder and then hit her in the face. As her assistants pursued her attacker, Angela said that she remembered some passers-by commenting that her ear was red from the impact, but she was too confused and could only feel herself quaking and crying. As she still has work to complete, Angela said that she does not have time to rest, but when asked how she was feeling, she became quite emotional and said that she was still quite unstable. She said that she does not have any enemies, does not owe any money and does not know that she has upset anyone. Moreover she is not even dating anyone, so she does not understand why this happened. Angela made a plea to the press to help look out for her because she feels very lonely and frightened on her own in Hong Kong. When asked about her physical condition, she said that the doctors have given her the all-clear and thanked everyone for their concern. A 34 year old man has been arrested by the police and is being questioned about the incident overnight. credits: batgwa.

omg...can u imagine she got slapped cause of a character role?! unbelievable if its true. but if it were true, it tells her she is a good actress.

yea she played too many mistress roles in his acting career -lol maybe thats why she gets hate in public... not that bad of a actress though.

as i recall.... she played a somewhat mistress in "The Drive of Life"...trying to get with Micheal Mui!...thats a pretty new series.
but tvb's been trying to change her image for a long time... i didn't like her before either... i always thought she looked like a prostitute -lol... but after i saw her on Beautiful Cooking she's alright now n anyway even if u dun like the role she plays there's not reason to slap her... it's not like she's really going aroiund wrecking real families... u dun c ppl running around punching 八兩金's face coz he's so freaking ugly... *sigh* so many crazy ppl around these days...
poor girl imagine getting slapped by a random person the street not just a lite slap, but so hard that you fall?? she's probably scared to go anywhere now, i kno i would be so many crazies out there!!
damn sucks for her even though gotta admit most of her roles are evil but no one should get slapped for a fictional character trait.

whoa...gettin bitch slapped for playin a bad mistress in series... the dude is crazy man and yup u guys are right... she always played the "keh leh feh" at the beginning... mainland type, yee lai, wo lay ching, prostitute type... she was so different in that series with that au yeung guy though
