They can be made for gaming. However, the fact that the batteries don't last a long time and its very difficult to upgrade when your laptop gets old, makes using laptops for gaming not so appealing.
Lol. Rigth after I went to downtown's Future shop and OMFG there was sooo many people, I gave up really fast. Most salesMAN are arab douchebags that only wants their commission. The chicks are nicer-ish. But at Staples, that salesman with his "no comission" pin getting really pushy about thr extented warranty really bugged me. My dad simply told him: "Lay it off, man" I laughed so hard at his face... specs of the computer: can't find it rofl...

Im from Malaysia~ and a standard laptop with this specs cost:RM3800= approximately USD1200-1400 with some accessories. C2D-2.0G, 1GB DDR 2 RAM, 160GB HD, webcam, integrated graphic card and the normal standard specs My bro in the US can just get superb cheap laptop with the above specs during Christmas eve with just USD500
