aaahhhh...that has happened to me many many many times. walk into my house and i find a guy sitting on my couch and my mum is calling him son-in-law. don't be so closed off to these girls though. ur dad would only want the best for u. besides, it's not like u have to marry them. a cup of coffee isn't gonna end ur life right? if ur willing to take the chance to do the online dating, why be so close minded to a blind date?

Honestly, there is a very slim chance you would find a good significant other, but it would be rare! you don't know what kind of person he/she is. People can fake alot of things when your chatting with one another.They could be some kind of creep and plus they could be really dangerous when trying to meet them. I really think its best if you stick around and get to know people at your age from your own town. Much safer than meeting in a chat room not knowing if he's a good guy or bad guy. Be careful if you are heading that route

i think u just need to go out with friends more. chill out, thru ur friends, ull meet their friends, and so on along the chain. keep doing it, and ll find someone eventually. maybe clubbing will cheer u up? great way to meet girls. maybe not keepers, but who knows...whether you do or not...ull still have lots of fun... what i think right now, is that you're too shy right now to approach girls. try to go with a friend and meet girls together.l that might give u more confidence. get those girls as friends first and then move on from there.

well i leave my computer on and i either play some games or go practice martial arts and i do alot of cooking. LIke i'm kind of in and out of the conversation.
online dating has its pros such as if you say something wrong u can just end it with a "jkjk" and a =) whilist in real life....if you say something bad, its not that easy to recover as they can just walk away and loose interest.
I think online dating works! I've never tried it but I'm always willing to try new things =) Its the 21st century and with technology these days you can make anything work.
^^ as soon as BB's name is mentioned theres always sum1 turning up personally, i feel that online dating won't really work out but i do find that a lot of the time its just a way to start friendships or something with sum1 of friends of friends etc as "fake" as everything on the net can be, the ppl i really only talk to on IM are those i kinda know, or atleast thru friends of friends (or pa )
