Does anyone like JRock/visual kei? For some odd reason i am starting to like JRock...and people is starting to find me really creepy.. is it because of what they wear?.. or the type of music?.... and JRock is AWESOME visual kei, Oshare Kei, indies, Kote Kei... Jrock is the fakest stuff ever, you just see Japanese guys running about trying to act like the west.
some dudes dress like ladies, scream out stuff and all that, cuss in english in fob tones....no jrock for me i think lol...
the only jrock i listen to are - do as infinity - the back horn - dragon ash altho i guess you could argue they are more jpop.

People like high and mighty colour, YUI and BoA could fall under J rock as it is there kinda genre and ive not seen YUI running around in black makeup screaming English cuss's aha! I dont really listen to the heavy stuff bar some which is mainly anime related but hey! But then you do get the Jheavymetal rock i guess whom are what your talking about but at the end of the day xxloserrolliexx its your taste of music and you shouldn't let any one class you upon a music taste and just ignore these people calling you "weird" obviously the people who the feel the need to call you weird because u simply listen to a genre of music you like but they don't have no soul! haha any way i know a couple of heavy j rockers and there just fine! Try listening to Dir En Grey, Maximum the hormone and nightmare im sure your like these!
UI and BoA could fall under J rock.....definitely not BoA, even though there's a song with the word "Rock" in it, doesn't mean she's a rock musician lol... and some might be classified as pop rock lol that's different too..
pretty much my point NewAzNSensation what im trying to say is the way hes mearly said Jrock but theres lots of sub genres within rock. True with BoA though im not sure why i said that :/!
Those crossdressing fegget bands make up a small, small portion of the rock bands in Japan. If you spend all your time digging around for those bands (most of them suck, including every single band mentioned in this thread), you might as well be an NSYNC and BSB groupie.
Well thats your opinion heartcollector no need to be so harsh saying they all suck! especially YUI as she was mentioned in this topic and in my opinion one of best Japanese singers at present but who am i to judge you
well..it does seem like I am leaning more towards the visual Kei.. but I know that there are other bands/artists out there too... and I think that above comment was not necessary (pretty rude too)...I also listen to Yui and some other bands too.. well.. I also do have some limits to some JRock
I like jrock! ^^ there's nothing creepy about liking jrock. Maybe just what they wear but Alice NIne or An Cafe doesn't dress really badly compared to dir en grey.
