Hey guys, I've found a nice do-it-yourself at home facial scrub that requires stuff found in your kitchen cabinet. It requires: 1/4 cup of granulated sugar 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of EXTRA virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon of honey (pure honey) Mix it well! The scrub should feel mushy, not oily. Mix it all in a resealable container. After you cleanse your face for the night, use this as a facial scrub. Pat your face down dry, it should feel supple and soft with a noticable glow. If your face feels oily, it might be because there was too much extra virgin olive oil. Apply your nightly moisturizer. I've tried this for a week and lets say I've noticed a reduction in blemishes on my skin. Since its made with natural products, it is safe to use nightly. two points i would like to make ?? putting olive oil, than adding more moisturizer, that's a little much you know that using regular olive oil and EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil will only make you more tasty, so um, i would recommend not bothering to waste the extra money on "extra virgin"
ive heard of ppl using olive oil in masks before...never tried it on my face though... what i did try is olive oil in my hair...it takes like 6times washing before it gets out....but yeah it feels a bit softer afterwards lol
Putting on moisturizer is an option. I put on a vitamin E enriched night cream after the scrub, even though it sounds a little much. Yes its true you are putting oil on your face but EVOO is good for your skin. Italian women swear by it!
