Coming from Taiwan's two most popular groups F4 and Fahrenheit, Jerry Yan and Wu Zun are set to star in a new drama called "Basketball Fire" in September. But difficulties had occurs since the planning of this drama such as finding the leading female actress. Jerry Yan wants Ariel Lin to be the role and he arranged a meeting with her. But because the role of the leading female actress is a small part, Ariel rejected Jerry. Jerry once joked, "Zai Zai (Vic Chou) has long hair, we can find him to be the leading female actress." When the staff of "Basketball Fire" is finding the leading female actress, Jerry announced that he will participate in this drama. The reason from him is that he think he's too old to act a college student role in the drama. The manager of Jerry Yan said that Jerry's age (30 years old) should act someone that has contribution to the society. He really doesn't fit to act a college student. Because Jerry suddenly announced that he will not star in "Basketball Fire", rumor starts that because he doesn't want to work with Wu Zun. Jerry's manager declined all the rumors, saying if Jerry doesn't like Wu Zun he won't ask Wu Zun to star in this drama. In fact, Wu Zun had been waiting for Jerry's time and had rejected a role in a movie. The filming of "Basketball Fire" will still be continuing and the staff will try to find someone else to play Jerry Yan's role.
Jerry Yan.....is really not that great imo.... I mean he played a nice role in the meteor garden but...thats about it...

I loved the first 1...and after watching the first one i felt so unsatisfied when dao ming si left in the end i was dying to see the 2nd one...and when i watched it i was like....wthhhh....? I think the storyline was just bad and because of that girl with the short hair...she and dao ming si were just >.< i dont like her....she was in at the threshold of an era as well...
Does 'nt Matter!! >.< i wanted to see jerry yan in Basketball Fire!! i think he can fit the college student role just fine!!! ya just hating!! T^T anyways , the reason why i was looking forward to this was because it said Jerry was going to be in it!!
i thought it was already confirmed that Jerry was playing a role in this drama..sumthing abt how they're changing the script slightly 2 jerry's liking...i duno but .i swear i read it sumwhere abt a week ago...i think the only problem they're having at da moment is getting the female lead

Since he seem to love playing Basketball, I was looking forward to seeing Jerry Yan in this new drama. I have notice he has been dropping out of alot of stuff lately.
now it was confirmed that Jerry, Alan Luo (Show) and Wu Zun wilil star in this idol drama. Evolution2x must be so happy XD
that's too bad... i like jerry but if he doesn't want to star in basketball fire becuse of chun then i guess i must've liked him for the wrong reasons... he should be like a mentor for Chun since he is Chun's senior in the business.
