Recently Ang Lee appeared on TVB's "Meet My Guests" hosted by Stephen Chan. Base on the information from the staffs, Stephen asked Ang Lee to stay, saying he has a gift to give to him. The "gift" is the information of Patrick Tang (personal info, released CDs, movies, etc) and two movies ("Whispers And Moans" & "The Lady Iron Chef"). Although Ang Lee was stunned at that moment, he still accept this "grand gift". Then he asked the staff around him "Who is Patrick Tang? Is he a very famous TV star?" Stephen Chan admitted what he'd done when a reporter asked him, "Yeah, Ang Lee used Lee Hom Wang for 'Lust, Caution', so I told him, I have a 'Hong' (Patrick Tang's full name is Kin Hong Tang) to introduce. I also gave him two of Patrick's movies to him." Everyone knew that Stephen Chan cared about Patrick Tang a lot. He always provide job opportunities for Tang, making him appear a lot on the screen. Stephen Chan said, "I want to help as much as I can. Actually Patrick's character is similar to mine, we are both passion about our job." There's also another reason for Stephen's deep caring for Patrick Tang. Stephen Chan explained, "I felt I own him a little bit. I remember when his contract with TVB is over, he (Patrick Tang) wants to become a singer and request for it; even he needs to pay for his album. But because of some reason before, it was never approved. That's why he left TVB. Then now we changed the way of working, I see he wasn't really happy about working outside [of TVB], so I ask him to return; like a payback to him."
yeah at first i doubt the chemistry, now, i wanna see more!! but i still like Beautiful Cooking better, i guess b/c i like to cook. xD
^ if i had to choose Beautiful Cooking or Foodies two shoes... i'll probably choose Foodies two shoes. Beautiful cooking's good but it gets boring sometimes.
i don't really like patrick as a host...he seems to force everything to make himself stand out...he's a good singer tho...
