Sometimes I forget that we are in fact what will go into history books in decades of time. History in the making indeed.
lol.. like when we become prehistoric in that whole new world? lol.. tat is if earth isn't distroyed by then..
wow....how far is 424 light years away?? how long does it take for us to reach tat planet with our current tech??
The speed of current space shuttle(s) clocks in at around 17500 mph (around 28162 km/h), given speed of light is 3 x 10^8 m/s = 1.08 x 10^9 km/h. So it would take around 16260000 years (that's 16 mil years) for us Earthly technology to get to the "new" planet.
I think its a bit far fetched. That "potential" planet is so far away, and yet they can deduce the composition of it. -mellow
actually.. from what i know. when scientists look into the sky, what they see is the event that is happening light years ago.. which is a really really long time. so i wonder.. if they see the ring.. by the time the ring is observed by us.. what will it look like at present time? but hey.. i suppose the scientists who discovered this will have thought of all these.. and simplitfied reports for publishing
I should feel offended by the comment right? -huh Amanda Tapping was hot... Too bad they are cutting the show (I am looking forward to the film though) Oops, was that spoiler still?
lol why should you feel offended? i think its awesome if a girl is into sci fi stuff and movie? serious? with the SAME actors?
The movie? I think it IS happening, at least it's RUMOURED to be happening, and Amanda Tapping is also rumoured to migrate to SGA... Though I must say with David Hewitt AND her, the science team is invincible = boring. Am I the only person who like Jack O'Neil more than Cameron Mitchell?
I am glad. Most of the communities are all over Cameron Mitchell on how good looking he is blah blah... I'd rather see him in Farscape -tongue2 And Vala is HOT.
In the whole entire universe. We cannot possibly be alone. Life must exist outside earth in whatever form
