personally i think that girls shouldn't wear make up, it should be about natural beauty and anyway its not like boys wear make up. it is only fair if girls don't or if they do they shouldn't wear lots of it and only on special occasions.
hehehe..nothing wrong with that.... u looked pretty in ur pics anyway the good thing about not wearing make up = at least ur bf doesnt have to be scared if he looks at u in the morning cuz ull look the same

hehehe, sillumjay shud remember a friend of his who didnt have her face caked with make up, his exact words were "omg, you forgot your face!" hahaha but some girls do need it (harsh as it sounds) but if they apply it right then its ok, but there was a girl i used to know, DAMNNNN, she had RAW acne and i dont think she knew how to apply foundation on properly because it was all like cracking n flaking off and it was just I used to be one of those girls that cant leave without eye liner, i dunno, my self esteem wasnt so high, but i felt better with eye liner, but then i had to go 100 days without make up, jewellery etc, n like i was so used to it, now i dnt care, and only put make up on for an occasion. Besides, when you take a nap and suddenly you have panda eyes from your make up, you just look super ugly, even worse when you dont have a irror on you and ppl are staring at you hahaha.
gosh. my friend has another friend who wears make-up all the time, even at home! and when she doesn't put on make-up (rarely) sometimes her family can't tell it's her and even her baby actually couldn't recognise her face! well, that's the most extreme case i've heard of though.

can i ask what the appeal of eyeliner is? I just never understood it why did you have to go 100 days without make up?
Ooohhh....when my grandparents passed away there was this tradition....is it because somebody passed away? to show that ur mourning?
^ yeah, my mum passed away, so 100 days. i dno, eye liner enhances the eyes, makes them bigger i guess or something, i dno, just enhances them in a way, lol
i do not understand why some people apply cosmetics that are layers thick. it's just gonna clog up the pores and cause acne. Then again, they could be doing to it cover the acne up. So, it's a whole viscious cycle
^^OMG>..what i sed reminded me of my junior high classmate... i wasnt really frds with her...cuz she is so crabby to me.... well...she had sooo much acne...its all over her face...shes Caucasian... but she puts layers and layers...like an onion...lol..of foundation and powder...and had sooo much eyener on..and eyeshadow...then one day my frd couldnt take it anymore and shes took to school the chinese *leung cha* to school...and she sed...this is very good for ur acne...just squeeze ur nose till u finished the whole thing...lol.. and she did..she sed that the after taste tastes sooo bitter..but then when gave her candy..next day...her already pop pimples were not as bad...and the reddness had toned down already... so the lesson is dunt put layers and layers of cake on...instead... drink leung cha...lol.
yeah make up is a part of it, i think by putting on make up is enhancing your look, when your supposed to be mourning. when your mourning, well, you dont look exactly pretty. but yeah, several things, cant cut your hair, no make up, no jewellery, cant go to peoples house, no new clothes, have to kneel when people come to your house, uhhh lots of things.
i think that as they get used to using make-up all the time they feel weird if they dont wear it. It would seem like they look totally different when you see them at home as opposed to goin out. I wear a little, though to cover a few pimple scars... its only because i cant be bothered... i do put on a bit more when i go out clubbin etc.... but realli its up to the person, nobody HAS to wear make-up, it just makes people feel better...
People give themselves more awareness than to those around them... You yourself will notice your own flaw more than others because you are more self conscience about youself.
